A little something about me.
I studied art at the Sutton School of Art in Surrey, and after completing three years there I joined an advertising agency in London. Two years later I changed agencies and became an Art Director.
Two advertising agencies down the line I started out on my own as a freelance photographer and worked in London, New York, Paris, Milan, Frankfurt, and other places around the world.
During my time as an Art Director and freelance photographer, I won 14 DADA awards and lectured on my work at the Royal College of Art, the London School of Printing, and several photographic societies.
Val and I reduced the work we did together in photography and film commercials when we bought a sheep farm in Devon which we ran happily for nine years. We retired in 1992 when I seriously started painting and sculpture.
At the present time of writing I live between the two moors in deepest Devon. My favourite artists are Paul Klee, Claude Monet, and Pierre Bonnard.
